Transfer from the airport
Capodichino, Napoli Centrale and the port: how to reach Piazza del Plebiscito without surprises on timing.
From Capodichino
The Alibus connects the airport to Piazza Municipio and the station in about 20-25 minutes, with frequent departures. A fixed-fare taxi (agreed in advance, not metered) takes similar time with more comfort for luggage.
From Napoli Centrale (train)
Metro line 1 connects the station directly to Piazza Municipio, a short walk from the Plebiscito. Alternatively, a 20-25 minute walk through the centre.
From the port (Molo Beverello)
Anyone arriving by ferry or hydrofoil from Capri, Ischia or Procida disembarks a few minutes' walk from the Plebiscito, crossing Piazza Municipio.
Maggio dei Monumenti and Napoli Teatro Festival
In May, dozens of historic palaces normally closed to the public open their doors; in June the Napoli Teatro Festival brings performances to theatres and courtyards across the city.
